Loukhoum

Loukhoum is a traditional Turkish sweet scented with rose water. Here is a refreshing confection of mints, roses and rose geranium, including my own extraction of the fragrant leaves, a process that takes 2 years. There are also herbs, including angelica and costmary, as well as resins, wood and other beautiful materials.

I was frankly inspired by master perfumer Dominique Ropion’s Geranium pour Monsieur, halfway through a minted geranium perfume in progress, and decided to take it in a more rosey, slightly more feminized partner to Ropion’s elegant creation.

It’s delicious, cooling, and perfect for a hot summer day, or a cold winter one when you want to match the chill. 10 ml in certified organic lychee alcohol
