Hesper Facial Serum

All about luminosity and glow, Hesper is a feminine version of Hesperus, the evening star.
I imagined a lush, mediumweight silky serum that felt as if connected with ancient beauty rituals. A theme constellated around resins from trees and garden plants. Biodynamically grown roses..several historic varieties… from the TF gardens were infused, three times in the same lipid, with different parts of the plant.

Resins, with their amazing properties, such as boswellic acids in certain frankincenses, smooth and refine the texture of skin. While deeply healing for tissues, the firming and refinement gives light an improved surface for reflection. Mineral and vitamin rich freshly pressed pumpkin seed oil, prickly pear, pomegranate, amaranth read like a menu of food for the face. In winter, we need a thoughtful dose of just the right nutrients, and stimulation for sluggish skin.

A kin to the Eos Complex Mist, Hibernal Balm & Elemental Lip Balm,  Hesper can be used alone, especially for skin with sufficient lipid production, or layered under either Hibernal or Lush Rose balms. Do this in a sequence of hydrosol, Hesper, more hydrosol, then balm. This gives the ultimate barrier protection from the elements. Most people find it carries through the entire day.

But Hesper is incredible as a regular clarifying, tone evening/lightening serum. She’s a star!

Use: after the essential step of misting with a hydrosol , apply a few drops to fingertips and pat onto skin. Contact with the hydrosol will make the serum spread easily. Finish with more more hydrosol & balm, if you wish.
