Removing dirt and excess/oxidized sebum with a well formulated cleansing oil is key for glowing, healthy skin. Cleansing with harsh surfactant – based cleansers full of preservatives harms the skin barrier, and probably causes the majority of “dry”, “sensitive” skin issues that people come with to me for advice.
Formulating this cleanser has been a game changer for my skin, and for others. Purifying, refining, decongesting & inflammation relieving plants were carefully chosen, as were the carrier oils themselves, for their ability to relieve the skin of toxic loads & dirt.
Leaf Love makes a great massage oil, especially for lymphatic work. Note: this product now comes in a dropper bottle, not shown in image.
It’s simple to use: a few drops in your palm and massage into your face and neck. Apply a very warm, steamy cloth, press, lift, rinse and repeat. You’ll see dirt & makeup melt and your skin will look radiant. At night, no need to apply lipid serums or balms. Instead, try Evening Blossom Mist for humectant, lasting hydration!

This cleansing oil is incredibly gentle & soothing both to the skin and to the olfactory/ spirit. To me it feels like stepping over cool, damp stones to reach a secret waterfall on a summers day (One of my favorite adventures) I am sitting quietly with eyes closed and my hands naturally just want to massage my face and release the tension of the day..the weeks, months and years. Someone has peeled back a bit of warm mossy carpet and rolled me up in it. I am equally cleansed as I am nourished by this root rich, green essence infused oil. Leaf Love introduced me to the idea of taking time to wash my face. The scent alone invites slowing down to take in its’ soft, earthy elements.
